The BLT (Big Leaf Trap)

If you have ever wanted a larger leaf trap on your external pump, this is it. Every one of us has been frustrated with emptying pump leaf baskets too often. A larger leaf basket needs to be emptied less often. This translates into a lot less maintenance.

Well, here it is. We call it our Big Leaf Trap (BLT for short) and its one of our favorites.

Our inlet and outlet ports have been modified by the manufacturer to provide for flow of 2 inches Inside the ports rather than the standard 1-1/2 inches. You get less restriction and better flow as a result. Ports allow for connection of 2 inch PVC fittings.

• 10 inches in Diameter, and 27 inches High.
• .30 Cubic Feet Volume
• Basket is more than 385 Sq. In. of surface volume and is 15 inches tall.
