Raypak Heaters

The Raypak Versa Full-Flow system improves heater life and provides condensation-free operation even with low inlet water temperatures.

This is the heater for Koi ponds that require a copper free water path. The 155,000 btu. comes with a stainless steel heat exchanger, and it's a breeze to install.

With a little luck, your local gas company will install the natural gas line. Then all you have to do is plumb the heater into the plumbing on the discharge (return) side of the pump. That's it! No electrical work as the Versa operates on its own self contained milli-volt system. And don't forget, we are not talking about heating water from 35 or 40 or 45 degrees up to 80 or 90 or 100 degrees like you would a spa or swimming pool. You need to raise the pond temperature sufficiently to allow your pets to feed and not go into dormancy.

Then Maintaining that temperature is a snap, and far less expensive than raising, lowering, raising, like you might with the spa or swimming pool. The Versa 155 can be special ordered to burn propane, but this is the most expensive way to go, and we don't recommend it. Natural gas is far less expensive both initially to get the Versa, and far less costly on a month fuel cost basis.
